As an inspired and a driven entrepreneur – Zeina, and through her work with quint – present a different outlook on the art of creativity. By adding a different flavor to a sometimes crowded scene, her contributions are inspiring. These contributions and an abundance of talent urged us to ask her to be one of our ‘creators without compromise’ series with Fujifilm.

“There is definitely potential (in the creative scene in UAE), but it still needs to be drawn out. There is a lot that hinders this country’s creative growth, and as soon as artists and creative folk are given the opportunity and room to express themselves more freely I believe we’ll see a huge surge in amazing work coming out of the UAE. That said, there are some truly talented creative people here, and we’re always on the lookout for more!”
“I draw inspiration from publications that I adore like Dazed and Confused, Wonderland, Frankie, and Lula. Reading and collecting magazines like these made me want to get into this industry and I still draw inspiration from them. I also try and soak in what culture and creativity I can from the city. When we launched the magazine it gave me a push to go to gigs, concerts, exhibitions, galleries and more… and since then I’ve discovered and had the opportunity to get to know and work with some incredible people. I also draw inspiration from the quint team, both in the office and spread all over the world. Those kids are interesting, fun, and driven, and they keep me passionate about what I do. “
“I really like it (the FujiFilm Finepix X100)! After fiddling around with it I worked out the different settings and had some fun with it. I also love that the design is a throwback to vintage cameras. Gave me a hipster edge I suppose, ha! It really has amazing features, many that are on par with fancy DSLRs. It was great to get those types of features in a camera that I can easily carry around with me.”
