Dance rock pioneers encourage ravers and indie kids in equal measures onto the dancefloor with this latest effort.
LCD have been at the forefront of this sound for some time now and once again they show the pretenders how it's done.
From the moment the subdued intro of sprawling opener 'Dance Yrself Clean' drops headfirst into the song proper, the tone is set.
Wildly veering from mindlessly fun party fodder to the downright dirty and lacerating, this is intelligent yet super catchy dance-rock of the highest order. If Daft Punk were playing at their house last time out, this time James Murphy & co have firmly wrested back control of the in-house entertainment.
