A one of a kind battle of the bands competition is set to take place this month in Dubai courtesy of the rock/metal aficionados and local scene champions at Metal Asylum - and with prizes sponsored by triplew.me, Musician's Warehouse and In The Mix studios.
The RAM battle will kick off on the 7th of January with its first installment which is dedicated to rock bands – this will include five locals bands playing different genres of rock music battling it out on stage for the title of RAM Rock Master (IED, 2Zero2, Foolproof, Riff Raff and Pure Mix). Likewise, a week later, on the 14th of January – the metal competition will kick off including bands such as Coat of Arms and Red Circle shredding the stage apart for the title of RAM Metal Master.
The decision on both nights will be decided by the audience as well as the jury (which includes triplew.me’s editor, Paul Kelly). And for the final showdown in February both winners will compete for the final title in what is promised to be a musical battle of epic proportions.
With prizes including a sponsored five-date tour in Malaysia, recording time courtesy of In The Mix studios, gift vouchers from Musician’s Warehouse and air time on a UK-based radio station (to name some!) – The RAM battle is bound to be a heated competition, so if you are in town - don’t miss it!
