Battles nowadays are more about creativity and finesse than anything else – and in a one of a kind musical battle, Melody House in Dubai is holding a Drum-Off! So if you’ve always wanted to show off your skills with snares and cymbals this is definitely your chance.
The drum-off will take ‘place’ on Melody House Facebook page where users are asked to upload videos of themselves drumming and from there on a shortlist will be picked followed by judging. The judging jury will consist of experienced professionals in drumming techniques and the music industry in general – this jury will then thoroughly look at each performance and give scores in order to find the winners.
Prizes include some cool drumming gear courtesy of Melody House as follows:
1st Prize: Pearl MCX Masters Premium Birch Snare + Sabian goodies
2nd Prize: Pearl Demon Drive Pedal + Sabian goodies
3rd Prize: 10 pairs of Vater Drumsticks + Sabian goodies
The competition will kick off on the 30th of April.
