VASPoohER from Mashhad,Iran.

VASPoohER is an hard rock band from Iran. Check out their profile on triplew.me's Makshoof Music.

VASPoohER is an Iran based band, classified under different Rock and Metal subgenres, formed in July 2003, through Ali Ravari’s joining in as Bass player to Emad Lashkari & Hamidreza Alizadeh (a.k.a Ham), whose collaboration on Guitars had lasted  about a year. Soon after, Reza Nabizadeh (vocals) and Aras Karimi (Drums) joined the band. VASPoohER played the first gig on 18 October 2003 in Razi Hall (Mashhad) and in May 2004 the band had a concert in Ferdowsi University. Another live show was in a national music festival in Ebn-e-Sina Hall (Mashhad) in April of 2005.

In the same year Aras Karimi had to quit the band and playing drums due to his immigration to the US besides his physician’s warning. This departure was prior to Reza Nabizadeh’s abandonment in 2007. At this point, Ham took the lead vocals along with Saeed Shariat being hired on drums to form the line-up that participated in MetalFront Fest 2008, Armenia which was an international performance for the band. After this experience Emad Lashkari, one of the band founders, left the band to start another musical project.

Session players cooperated with VASPoohER are Saeed Shariat (Drums, 2005-2008), Hamid Shirazi (Bass, 2007-2008), Shahin Vaghfipour (Vocals, 2008-2009), Ali Shahpasand (Guitars, 2009-2010).

Some fundamental substitutions have been made in 2011 and the current line-up is:

  • Hamidreza Alizadeh (Vocals, Guitars, Bass)
  • Morteza Hoseini (Guitars)
  • Aidin Amini (Guitars)
  • Ali Ravari (Bass)
